Three Reasons to Solve With Solve Group
July 4, 2016
The year was 2004. The company was New Zealand's largest export company, Fonterra.
A division had been created to begin to re-think, drive forward and transform a complex global supply chain operation. Creativity, pragmatism and optimisation were key. Collaboration and a commitment to results were paramount to success.
Peter Morris, Simon Chisholm and Peter Reeves were a core part of this team delivering logistics, procurement and supply chain strategy both at home, here in NZ, and on a global scale.
Following these productive and successful years, they went their seperate ways, continuing to develop their expertise in the fields most suited to their interests, rising up the ranks as General Managers, Managing Directors and Senior Consultants. Yet something was missing.
Earlier this year, Pete, Simon and Peter were pondering the next steps in their careers (while simultaneously considering the virtues of the craft beers in front of them.)
Each was independently considering contracting and consulting. They had enjoyed helping businesses make real changes. They liked being present from ideation to implementation and beyond.
Yet they also realised that they were all at their best during their days working together at Fonterra. When they worked as a team - when they whole of their skill sets was applied - they had made the most impact.
This, they realised was what was missing in the market.
A consultancy that draws from the collective knowledge of all involved. One lead consultant; many minds in the background helping to deliver world-class strategies and solutions, for all New Zealand businesses.
A consultancy that knows ideas and strategy are but one part of the solution; that transformation requires commitment to the client during implementation and beyond.
Thus Solve Group was born.
